Halifax banking group complaints, my actual complaint made this site all happen due to the worst service ever, it was a straight foward accidental damage laptop claim to hell.

The timeline shows THEY failed long before this Banking Group Complaints domain existed.

The only way for any dispute to have ceedence is for it to stand for something for the good of the insurance community.

So, with that in mind, the author of this site will prove that it was not built just for clickbait.

It was, in fact, a real claim that went from an easy accidental damage claim to an utter nightmare purely because Halifax used a filfitment claims company, SBS-Claims, which is NOT a registered loss adjuster, and who got the Dell G15 5521 SE class all wrong.

My own documented timeline already proves:

  • Halifax missed the 5‑day acknowledgement deadline.

  • Halifax paid £100 for the delay without explanation.

  • Halifax failed to provide written reasons.

  • Halifax failed to communicate the first payment of £999.99p.

  • Halifax then failed to communicate the £1603 bank drop with a non-return email link.

  • Halifax created confusion between SBS-Claims and itself.

  • Halifax failed to follow its own process.

  • Halifax failed to provide a Final Response despite repeated requests.

  • Halifax is approaching the FCA 8‑week deadline. Today is the day 24/04/25

  • Halifax CEO mailboxes are unmonitored, which is against FOS rules

This claim is now headed towards the FOS, and I will keep you all updated on its progress.
